For manufacturers
Dual-channel sales test log
Two routes to an industrial buyer and a preparation time log. The training example shows how to distinguish a draft, an inquiry, a quotation, and a real order.
How to use
- Select two suitable channels and one testable hypothesis for each.
- Keep a log of actions, time spent, and results.
- Compare contact quality over the same period; the illustrative example is not a market experiment.
Result: Verified routes and time log with conditional completion.

Purpose: to track time and task-specific results without mixing preparation with orders.
Two proven routes for the first test
The first route is the potential buyer's official procurement page and a targeted inquiry via the specified channel. On AZPI procurement page The requirements, questionnaire, and procurement contact are published. First, compare your product range with the buyer's tasks, then clarify the review procedure. The presence of an address does not mean an invitation to send any offers.
The second route is the procedure through the procurement platform. On TAGMET procurement page the lists of materials and goods to be procured and the transition to the TMK platform are specified. First, study the category and participation conditions. A procurement catalog does not yet mean an open procedure for your product or your company's admission.
The pages and transitions were checked on October 1, 2026. The closed account and submission of requests were not checked. To assess channel suitability, you will need the current procedure, documents, and conditions specifically for your participation.
Training timesheet
In this example, a parts manufacturer compares two ways to find customers. The figures illustrate how to track the preparation work.
| Stage | Procurement page and direct contact, min | Procedure via the platform, min | Achieved learning outcome |
|---|---|---|---|
| Check the buyer category | 35 | 45 | List of requirements for the area under consideration |
| Match your capabilities | 50 | 50 | One product group is suitable for further study |
| Prepare information and documents | 75 | 110 | Draft package; there are issues with the form |
| Prepare the next step | 20 | 35 | Draft subject letter / list of questions for the procedure |
| Total | 180 | 240 | 3 hours / 4 hours of preparation; requests and orders — 0 |
In this example, the second route required one more hour of preparation. No conclusion can be drawn from this about the cost of the order or payback: they do not exist yet. The total 50 minutes of capability verification can be spent once when reused; if this was the case in actual records, do not count it twice in the team's total hours.
Add the following fields to your log: [date], [employee], [channel], [action], [minutes], [result artifact], [contact status], [next step]. Count search, preparation, conversations, quotation, and support separately. Do not record a prepared draft as a sent offer.
After launch, mark for each real request whether it matches the specialization, whether there is enough data, and whether it reached calculation. One call, one form under review, and one order are three different events. If an order appears, its connection to the channel must also have a basis, not a manager’s assumption.
| Date | Employee | Channel | Action | Minutes | Result/file | Actual contact status | Next step |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| [Date] | [Role] | [Source] | [Work] | [Number] | [File/record] | [not sent / sent / response / calculation / order] | [Action and deadline] |
